Israel’s ex-PM calls covering both sides of the conflict ‘an insult’ to journalism

According to Israel’s former prime minister, ‘international objective coverage’ of the conflict in the media and showing ‘both sides’ is unacceptable and only ‘serves Hamas’. ‘Media can’t just claim to bring both sides of the story. If you do that, you are only bringing one, Hamas’ side,’ said Yair Lapid, adding that it is also ‘an insult to the core idea of what journalism is, and citing his previous reporting career by saying ‘Believe me.
