At least 18 Palestinians were reported injured in clashes with Israeli forces who raided al-Khader town, west of Bethlehem, in the occupied West Bank. The Hamas military wing says it destroyed 79 Israeli army vehicles, either completely or partially, in the last 72 hours. Israel’s military has confirmed the deaths of two more soldiers, including the son of Gadi Eizenkot, a minister in the Netanyahu government. The US Secretary of State said there is “a gap” between what Israel pledged to do to protect Palestinian civilians, and the results in southern Gaza. British newspaper The Times reported that a British team is currently in the occupied West Bank helping to prepare the Palestinian Authority (PA) to govern Gaza.
