Israel Hamas war: Israeli airstrike on Gaza school kills at least 17

People in Gaza are continuing to flee an Israeli offensive in the north, which has left the few remaining hospitals on the brink of collapse, and forced emergency responders to suspend their operations. The IDF say they’re helping civilians to evacuate - but nowhere in Gaza is safe. Further south, at least 17 people, including children, were killed in a strike on a school, which Israel says was being used as a command centre by Hamas.
