Chris Gable - Georgia On My Mind (a la Gerald Albright)

My arrangement of Gerald Albright’s version of Georgia On My Mind. If I was forced to pick one sax player as my favourite, it would likely be Gerald Albright. He’s also probably the sax player I sound the most like (although I’m not even close to how freakishly good the dude is). This isn’t exactly like his version, which is a lot slower; consider it more of a tribute. This tune is always, for me at least, the highlight of any show I perform. I’ve probably played it a thousand times or more, but I still get a huge kick out of performing it - particularly when backed by such a sensational band. Recorded live at Burwood RSL.
