And Sapphic Soviet spy, what’s not to love? (also is anyone else now picturing Ksenia as Yelena Belova because now I can’t stop, Marvel make it happen!) Susie is awesome and I love her. Though I will admit that I’m annoyed with the way the show queerbaited (I mean the way they hyped up this relationship on twitter, and now apparently they were only using it to bring Mimi and her husband closer together???), also that a lot of the time it fell into the predatory lesbian/straight best friend stereotype, and they did not have to have the only same-sex kiss on the show be a sexual assault. I wish showrunners treated their lgbt characters/storylines with greater care and responsibility but here we are. I wish I had hope for Mimi and Susie next season but I don’t have a lot of faith in the showrunners so. Alas, it’s Ksenia and Susie is great so of course I’m going to keep watching. But I think just her scenes from now on.
