It provides an overview of many of the most important topics on the disorder concerning nature, diagnostic criteria, subtypes, prevalence, comorbid disorders, life course impairments, etiologies, the empirically supported treatments, disproven remedies, parent counseling, parent training, school management, and medication management. The program is designed to acquaint participants with what is currently known about these various topics providing a state-of-the-art summation about the disorder.
