Ut Kwintet, a wind ensemble based in the Netherlands, unites five musicians from across the globe.
“Ut“ originates from the Latin hymn, ‘Hymn for Saint John the Baptist’, and is poetically heard at the beginning of every new stanza. It stands for the beginning of musical ideas and serves as the starting point for the blooming of melodies and compositions. Ut Kwintet has adopted this concept to represent their passion for new musical ideas, aiming to inspire audiences with their energy, camaraderie, and dynamic playing, allowing for a unique and unforgettable concert experience.
