Sitar maestro Ustad Ashraf Sharif Khan performs an Alaap in Raag Bhimplasi. The performance was part of an exclusive mehfil organised by the Lahore Music Forum (LMF) at the Nairang Art Gallery on 21st March 2013. Presently residing in Germany, Ashraf is considered amongst the foremost instrumentalists of his generation, having been trained by his illustrious father, Ustad Sharif Khan Poonchwaley.
