An important part was the music that accompanied the levels. Once my friend brought from abroad a CD with cool rock songs, there were only 6 of them, and they were so driving that I immediately fell in love with, like Nirvana. As it turned out, it was music from the game Comix Zone, a score played by a rock band put together by Howard Drossin (who also wrote the Comix Zone soundtrack). The album featured core melodies and harmonies that created a unique vibe in the game. Lyrics and vocals were added to all this. This was a real gift for fans of the comix zone.
