Storm Dudley batters Blackpool coastline

Strong winds and high tides have lashed the coast in Blackpool as the Met Office issued an amber weather warning due to Storm Dudley. Gusts of up to 90mph were predicted in some parts of the UK, followed on Friday by Storm Eunice, which could be even more damaging. Follow live:
