Hariyali Paneer Tikka is a popular vegetarian Indian appetizer or snack made from marinated cubes of paneer that are skewered and grilled or roasted. “Hariyali“ refers to the vibrant green color of the marinade, which is achieved by using a combination of fresh green coriander and smint leaves and flavour with spices and herbs. This dish is known for its delicious flavor and is a favorite among vegetarians and paneer lovers. #paneertikka #hariyalipaneertikka #paneerrecipe #easyrecipe Ingredients Quantity Cottage cheese (paneer) 250 grams Oil for cooking Cumin seeds ½ tsp Cashew nut 16-18 no Green chilli slit 5 no Coriander leaves 1 cup Mint leaves ½ cup Turmeric powder ½ tsp Yogurt 3 tbsp Mustard oil 2 tbsp Carom seeds ¼ tsp Gram flour 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp Kasoori methi ½ tsp Garam masala ½ tsp Salt to taste Lemon juice ½ no Onion cubed 1 no Tomato cubed 1 no Green capsicums cubed 1 no Laccha onion for serving Green chilli slit for serving Lemon slice for serving Coriander sprig for garnish Method:- 1. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a kadai; add cumin seeds, mix well and sauté till its splutter. 2. Add cashew nuts and mix well. 3. Add green chillies, mix well and sauté for 1 min. 4. Add coriander leaves and mint leaves, mix well and sauté for 1 min. 5. Add turmeric powder and mix well. 6. Put this mixture in grinder jar, add yogurt and grind well. 7. Heat mustard oil in same kadai, add carom seeds and sauté for 30 sec. 8. Add gram flour, mix well and sauté for another 30 sec. 9. Take mixing bowl, add ginger garlic paste, kasoori methi, garam masala, gram flour mixture, grinded paste, salt and lemon juice and mix well. 10. Cut cottage cheese into 1½ inch cubes and add to the green paste mixture along with onion, tomato and capsicum cubes and mix gently. 11. Thread on to satay sticks in this manner: Cottage cheese cubes, onion, tomato, capsicum. Repeat the order once more and end with a cottage cheese cube. 12. Heat oil in grill pan, place the paneer Tikka on it and grill them well from all the side. 13. Remove in serving plate and serve hot with laccha onion, green chilli and lemon slice.
