Zorahayda, Op. 11 - Legend (tone poem) (1874, rev. 1879) A symphonic poem by Johan Svendsen (1840-1911). It is based on Washington Irving’s “Legend of the Rose of the Alhambra,“ which recounts the tale of a Moorish princess who falls in love with a Christian knight.
