Finishing Sgraffito Frame #A351

Here we show how the sgraffito design is revealed. The drawing is first protected with lacquer so that it does not rub off. We then rub the corners of the frame with steel wool to remove some gold. The red bole comes out and contrasts with the gold of the sgraffito. The entire frame is later sealed with lacquer.окончание процесса сграффито
