Olympian Sharron Davies - The Fight for Women’s Sport
Sharron Davies MBE is a former competitive swimmer who represented Great Britain in three Olympic Games. In 1980 she famously lost out on a gold medal, placing second to a doped East German competitor. She has recently released a book, ‘Unfair Play: The Battle For Women’s Sport’, partly as a response to the impact of trans identifying males competing in women’s sports.
