This was filmed in northern Sweden at night, around 1 am, in June, 2022. It never gets dark in June, and lots of animals are active during the night. The whooper swans (Cygnus cygnus) are especially loud and can be heard for miles if the water surface is still. This bird is called “sångsvan“ in Swedish, which means “singing swan“, or “song swan“.
