Black cardamom 1 No. Green cardamom 4-5 No. Cinnamon stick ½ inch Ginger chopped 1 Tbsp Garlic chopped 1 Tbsp Brown onion paste ¼ cup Yogurt 1 Cup Flour 1 Tbsp Salt to taste Fennel powder 1 Tsp Dry ginger powder 1 Tsp Green chilli chopped 2-3 No. Black pepper crushed 1 Tsp Cloves 2-3 No. Water as required Method: 1. Heat ghee in pan, add chicken and fry it till light brown. 2. Remove in plate and keep it aside. 3. Add black cardamom, green cardamom, cinnamon stick, ginger chopped and garlic chopped, mix well and sauté for 2 min. 4. Add brown onion paste and mix well. 5. Meanwhile mix together yogurt and flour and add to the pan and mix well. 6. Add salt, fennel powder, dry ginger powder, green chilli chopped, black pepper crushed and cloves, mix well and sauté for 1 min. 7. Add fried chicken and water, mix well and cover and cook for 15-20 min. 8. After 15-20 min remove the lid and mix well. 9. Remove the chicken yakhni in serving bowl, and serve hot.
