Hubble Mosaic of the Majestic Sombrero Galacy⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ The image featured in this video is a 73 megapixel (11,472x6,429 pixels) mosaic of M104 taken by the Hubble Space Telescope. The galaxy is fittingly named after its resemblance to the broad-rimmed, high-topped Mexican hat. M104 is 50,000 light-years across and is 30 million miles from Earth.⁣⁣ The image is deep in detail, not only with the centerpiece galaxy, but with all the other tiny galaxies around it that can still be resolved.
