Seeking Searchers For Missing Person Dennis Burton in Death Valley/ Panamint Mountains 3/2/24

The Wonderhussy Report A woman recently emailed me, asking if I knew anyone who could take her out to Panamint Valley to look for a missing person named Dennis Burton, whose truck had been found abandoned with an empty gas tank in Goler Wash. Cathy runs an organization called the Fowler-O’Sullivan Foundation, which searches for missing hikers even after official Search and Rescue efforts have ended. We ended up rounding up a group of dedicated locals, and headed out to Goler Canyon to see what we could see -- and to set up a base camp for the official, methodical grid search this coming weekend (3/2-3/3/24).
