Recipe for pickles
1/2 cup white vinegar
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup water
3 tbs sugar - or more to taste
2tbs pickling spice
3 tbs pot licka seasoning
3 small cucumbers
Onions and peppers are optional
Combine all the liquid ingredients plus the spices In a saucepan
Bring to a simmer for about 3-4 mins - taste the liquid and adjust seasonings/flavor to taste. Allow the liquid to cool for about 10 minutes before pouring into the jar
Place veggies in jar and add liquid to cover-
Place in the fridge for 8 hours or for best results, overnight.
Store in fridge for up t 6 weeks.
