Mudlarks (1966)

Portsmouth, Hampshire. Muddy times - cyclo-cross is a cross country race through the woods for cyclists - it seems suprisingly modern, mud and helmets but no Lycra! The commentary says ’here’s mud in your eye’. Lots of shots of the race through wooded areas. The winner crosses the line and at the end the cyclists are hosed down. Note : see also CP 586 Cuts.
