Georges Bizet - La poupée, No 3 from Jeux d’enfants (The Doll, from Children’s Games)

The project was designed to provide the students with an opportunity to develop their chamber music skills through the piano duet repertoire. It was made possible by the generosity of the keyboard staff of the Young Conservatorium, and the support of the Young Conservatorium and the Australian Piano Duo Festival. As a starting point for this project, selections from the new Collaborative Piano Syllabus from the Australian Music Examinations Board (AMEB) were studied by the students. The performances were then recorded in multi-cam to be able to show different angles of both players, and captured in the spirit of a live performance.
