PUNK’S NOT DEAD [Anarki Theme]

My interpretation of what would be Anarki’s (Quake Champions) theme song! I was kind of envisioning how fighting game characters have their tracks that play while I made this. It was a fun/interesting challenge to blend a punk rock personality with the sort of metal/industrial vibe that I feel Quake is known for. I threw in the descending chord motif that is in the Burial Chamber track from QC, as Anarki was one of my favorite picks on that map due to how easy it is to build speed with the huge space. I also blended the sound of his hoverboard whirring up with a riser effect to give some of the transitions the feeling that he’s picking up speed. I thought it was important to convey a sort of sense of chaotic fun, as Anarki is constantly yelling about how much of a good time he’s having as he frags :P Edit: Someone finally caught the Adrenaline Junkie OST reference from Quake 2: The Reckoning.
