Victor Burkasov (1937-2009)

The artist Viktor Petrovich Burkasov (1937-2009) studied in Leningrad, at the Studio of Fine and Applied Arts for the training of deaf artists at the Leningrad House of Culture of the All-Russian Society of the Deaf. It is the influence of the Leningrad school that is particularly evident in his painting. From 1968 until the last day (2009) Viktor Petrovich Burkasov lived and worked in Krasnoyarsk. Deaf from birth, Burkasov was able to sing of life, work and youth. ================================== Художник Виктор Петрович Буркасов (1937-2009) учился в Ленинграде, в студии изобразительного и прикладного искусства для подготовки неслышащих художников при Ленинградском доме культуры Всероссийского общества глухих. Именно влияние ленинградской школы особенно прослеживается в его живописи. С 1968 года и до последнего дня (2009 г.) Виктор Петрович Буркасов жил и работал в Красноярске. Глухой от рождения, Буркасов умел воспевать жизнь, труд и молодость.
