Ignaz Tedesco - Nocturne, // “Mon Souhait“

Tedesco (1817-1882) was an Austrian pianist and composer . Called the “Hannibal of the Octaves“, because in his performance there were few pianists who could surpass him. He made rapid progress on the piano and was first heard in public in Prague and then in Vienna , when he was only twelve years old. Disciple, with time, of the famous Václav Tomášek , after several artistic excursions by Germany , Russia and Rumania , settling down in Odessa like piano professor , and remained always, saved of some excursions made in Hamburg and London.
