Brooks England | The B68 is back ft. Rivendell Bicycle Works

“I think if nobody cared about being a cool cat racer-type, or everybody rode five to 25 miles a day to town and around ponds on rolling roads while pedaling in fairly natural and upright positions, taking care of business, shopping, or getting out there for extremely tolerable and maybe even thrilling exercise; and if money were no object, and nobody was vegan, and if Brooks could make enough of them, then the Brooks B68 would be the most popular bicycle saddle on spaceship earth. It’s as good-looking as a saddle can be, for sure. Like all leather saddles, it’s hard and slightly slipperier when new, but that goes away. I nose mine upward about 10 degrees. The 10-degree up-nose looks painful, but locks your sit bones back on the wide part of the saddle, and it’s heavenly. Obviously, everybody’s butt and crotch are different, and saddle opinions are always suspect…but a wider saddle that supports the sit-bones, flexes a bit, and doesn’t rub your crotch or compress your nerves is a good start. I’m not B68 exclusive, because I like a variety like anybody else. But if I had to lock in, I’d lock into the B68, no hesitation.“ Grant Petersen, Rivendell Bicycle Works Founder Available now at: Follow Brooks England Instagram: Facebook:
