ROAD CONDITIONS OF DIMAPUR IN DEPLORABLE STATE

The National Highway 36 stretches from Dillai gate (Nagaland check gate) to Dhobinalla which was constructed during 2001-2002 is now in deplorable condition. Stretches of roads in Dimapur - Dillai Check Gate, Indisen Highway, Firing Range, Oriental Colony, PWD Supply, Forest Colony, Midland and Dhobinala area and also other leading roads are some where potholes are becoming very evident. Even in 2022, eight village councils and 10 colony councils also threatened to take their own course of action against the concerned department. However, till date the concern department has left deaf ears towards the voice and appeal of the concerned citizens .
