Recorded by the St. Xenia Kitchen Chapel Singers Stoney Creek, Ontario Every Friday evening, our family prays the Akathist to St. Xenia of St. Petersburg - the patron saint for “houses, spouses and jobs.“ She has never disappointed us whenever we called on her in need. “Blessed Mother Xenia, Holy Fool for the sake of Christ, you elected to undergo the struggle of patience and the suffering of affliction. We therefore honour your sacred memory with hymns of praise. Help us against our enemies, visible and invisible, that we may cry to you: Rejoice, Blessed Xenia, faithful intercessor for our souls.“
