Eurovision: Isreali contestant booed as thousands protest outside venue

Switzerland’s Nemo has won Eurovision in a triumph that caps off one of the most fraught weeks in the feel-good competition’s long history. Israel’s Eden Golan had a mixed reception from the audience: both cheers and boos. Meanwhile, thousands of pro-Palestinian protestors gathered outside the Malmo Arena – including climate activist Greta Thunberg, who was moved on by police.
