Christo Brambarov - Farewell and Death of Boris

Christo Brambarov (1907 - 1974) Bulgarian baritone was born on October 15th, 1907 in Lovech. After attending the Music Academy of Sofia he finished his vocal studies in Italy. In 1936 he began a long and successful career with the National Opera of Sofia. International appearances took him to the famous opera houses of Italy, France, Hungary, Poland, Yugoslavia, Romania and Czechoslovakia. The major roles in his career included: Rigoletto, Rodrigo in Don Carlos, Renato, Enrico in Lucia di Lammermo
