OpenBVE NYCTA Showcase: R32 Phase I & II with new 3D cab control and Westinghouse propulsion pack!
In this video I’ll be showcasing some of the new biggest features of the R32 that have been worked on for a while.
I am collaborating with Delsin Rowe, who’s good at Blender. He had the kindness to build new 3D cab controls for the R32 Phase I: brake handle, Post-GOH GE master controllers and reverser keys, while I built the WH master controller for the Phase II R32. More good stuff from him coming to the R32 soon.
I also improved Daniel Ant’s Westinghouse 1447JR propulsion to sound even more authentic, with the Pre-1995 weakening version included.
Physics revised as well.
This video includes 2 cab rides on the F line from Coney Island to 7th Avenue. First is with a 2001-2008 R32 Phase II, second with a 1990-1994 R32 Phase I.
Next planned videos:
-GE Rebuild R32 R train from 95 St to Atlantic Av
-R38 C train from 168 St to 59 St
-R38 with AC Motors (route tbd)
-2000s Railfanning video with R32s and R38s included (Probably W4 St on the A, C, E, B, D, F, V)
-1990s Franklin Avenue Shuttle showcase
