Crane Vessel on the Volga River

Even such unusual things can be found on the Volga River during a river cruise. Look! This is the T-51 floating crane. We are used to seeing ships on rivers. A floating crane is also a vessel. Hers full name will sound like this - a full-rotating load-lifting diesel-electric non-self-propelled floating crane. It was built in 1981 according to the R-108 project. Can lift as much as 16 tons. The river landscape is complemented by the Shelby dry-cargo platform barge (formerly BP-1), built in 1988 according to project 81102 - 81109. And of course, in this group of floating things we see the twin-screw pusher tug Volgar (project 911B, built in 1974). Shooting date: August 17, 2023.
