In response to numerous requests, I am pleased to share with you the recitation of 1008 rounds of the Vajrapani Mantra in Sanskrit. Vajrapāni, an ancient Dharmapala in Mahayana Buddhism, is also revered as a deity in the Pali Canon of the Theravada school. Chanting this sacred mantra, as guided by our esteemed masters, is believed to bestow inner strength and protection. Vajrapani, recognized as the protector and guide of Gautama Buddha, symbolizes the Buddha’s profound power. The mantra, a succinct invocation, is as follows: oṃ vajrapāṇi hūṃ phaṭ Sanskrit (ॐ वज्रपाणि हूं फट). With its seven syllables, this mantra aligns with Tantra principles, where chanting each syllable mindfully, multiplied by 100,000, is considered the minimum requirement for Siddha.
