Armenian Ashugh Sheram ( Grigor Talian ) was born on March 20 1857 Sheram’s birthplace, Gyumri, is known for its rich cultural heritage, and it’s no surprise that such a talented and influential figure as Sheram emerged from this region. His contributions to Armenian music and culture have left a lasting impact, making him a revered figure in the country’s artistic history. As the founder of the modern gusan art, Sheram played a crucial role in shaping and preserving traditional Armenian music.
