Introducing the Kay/Audiovox Effector, a Les(s) Paul with five onboard effects, crafted in Korea in the late seventies to early eighties. All the guitar tracks in the video are done with this beauty and its effects, although I did use a boost and an analog delay. Everything was recorded direct into a cheap-ass DAW.
It’s a groovy sounding axe, dripping with eccentric character. A bit of a wrestling match, but overall not a bad player. Special thanks to Fred at for getting her going.
