Long March-4B launches Gaofen-11 05

A Long March-4B launch vehicle (Y58, 长征四号乙遥五十八) launched the Gaofen-11 05 Earth-observation satellite from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center, Shanxi Province, China, on 19 July 2024, at 03:03 UTC (11:03 local time). According to official sources, Gaofen-11 05 (高分十一号05) entered the planned orbit successfully and will form a network with Gaofen-11 01, 02, 03 and 04, that “will be used in a variety of fields including land surveys, urban planning, road network design, crop yield estimation and disaster relief”.
