Collin Sexton puts up 29 points, seven assists vs Wizards

Go to Ball Hog Gloves Collin Sexton played 33 minutes in Monday’s win over the Wizards, tallying 29 points (11-of-19 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), three rebounds, seven assists, two steals, and four 3-pointers. After injuries limited him to 59 games during the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons, Sexton’s back to full strength and has been an impactful player in fantasy basketball. Ranked just inside the top 100 in 8-cat per-game value for the season, he has been a 4th-round player over the past two weeks. During this stretch, Sexton is averaging 20.2 points, 2.0 rebounds, 5.7 assists, 2.2 steals, and 2.0 3-pointers in nearly 30 minutes, shooting 48.1% from the field and 82.5% from the foul line. With backcourt partner Keyonte George leaving Monday’s game after six minutes due to illness, Sexton could be of even greater importance if the rookie isn’t cleared for Wednesday’s game against the Bulls.
