The Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rishi Sunak MP, announced the 2021 Autumn Budget. Traditionally, the Chairman of Ways and Means (Deputy Speaker) chairs the Budget debates rather than the Speaker. There will be four days of debate on the statement in the House of Commons from Wednesday 27 October. The House of Lords will debate the statement on Wednesday 3 November.
