U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor has died at the age of 93. She made history by becoming the first female U.S. Supreme Court Justice in 1981. Join us at 5 p.m. MST for a livestream of “Arizona Horizon“ at We’ll look back at her legacy with Ruth McGregor, a former Arizona Supreme Court chief justice who clerked for O’Connor from 1981 to 1982 and Scott Bales, also a former chief of the Arizona Supreme Court who clerked for O’Connor in 1984 and 1985. Both serve on the advisory board of the O’Connor Justice Prize, an organization which recognizes exemplary leadership in rule of law initiatives and honors Sandra Day O’Connor’s legacy.
