James Ingram, who is a native of Akron, Ohio, now living in Los Angeles, who is a singer/musician/producer who began his career performing with the short-lived band Revelation Funk in the early ’70s. After hearing a demo of him singing ’Just Once’, Quincy Jones asked Ingram to perform on his new album in 1980, The Dude.
