Loggers Canyon | CINEMATIC DRONE FILM | DJI Mavic 2 Pro Aerial Footage

My favorite trips are to the true hidden gems of the world, places that only a limited number of locals even know about. I heard whispers of a spot deep within the mountains of the Sierra National forest. The “perfect“ camping spot, hours from the next nearest person. I mapped my route to the GPS coordinates I was given and arrived in the evening via a dirt road to a large clearing beneath a grove of towering evergreens. Left by previous visitors awaited a rock-surrounded fit pit, right next to a trickling creek, complete with a fallen-tree-bridge to the other side. In the surrounding canyons are remnants of what used to be bustling mills, most of which are now inactive. Seemingly endless stacks of gigantic logs lay scattered across every hill. You’ll never see this place in a “top 10 places to visit“ travel blog post, but it’s just the type of location I love.
