DELVER IS FINALLY PLAYABLE IN MODERN????? Since Modern was created people have been trying to make delver of secrets work, and it never has... until now. Many new cards have been printed into modern horizons 2 that have invigorated the u/r tempo archatype making delver finally playable. Murktide regent comes down as early as turn 2 as a 7/7 flyer that is extremely hard to kill, and kills your opponent very quickly. Dragon’s rage channeler allows you to set up your draws really easily and makes it so nearly no draw step is ever dead. And finally counterspell now being legal allows you to have your 2 mana counter always be live no matter what point in the game. All of these cards coming together make delver of secrets finally see the light of day and not only be good, but dominate the modern magic the gathering competitive space.
