Esco Streamline® Compounding Isolator (SCI)

This video is about a short demonstration on how to properly replace the gloves and sleeves of the Streamline® Compounding Isolator.
Both the gloves and sleeves will be contaminated over time, so it is advised that during this replacement procedure, the appropriate PPE should be worn.
The schedule of the glove and sleeve replacement will be dictated by the isolator’s intended application and the usage frequency.
The glove assembly is composed of the following materials:
- The Hypalon sleeve
- The cuff rings
- The O-rings
The Glove Replacement Procedure:
1. Pull the glove and sleeve outside the isolator.
2. Fold the fingers of the glove inside the cuff ring
3. Remove the O-ring
4. Carefully roll the glove from the inner groove to the middle groove
5. Take the new glove, attach it to the cuff ring ensuring that the thumb is at the top.
