About, During the 1980s, Tracy K worked the music scene in Toronto as a live and session vocalist, harmonica player and percussionist. She recorded her first solo release at Private Ear in Winnipeg in the year 2000. For years after that initial release Tracy K was a mainstay on the blues and jazz circuit in Winnipeg. Her busy performance and touring schedule was studded with festival mainstage gigs. Tracy K was no stranger to the Canadian blues scene, especially in Toronto. She was the first female featured at their Blues Society’s Harmonica Workshop, and she performed at their prestigious Women’s Blues Revue.
