The Zaporozhye Regional Court sentenced two residents of the region to 16 and 15 years in prison for providing the Armed Forces of Ukraine with information about the Russian army, which resulted in missile strikes on Russian Ministry of Defense facilities. “The court found the defendants guilty of committing a crime under Article 276 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (espionage) and sentenced citizen M. to 16 years, and citizen Sh. to 15 years of imprisonment to be served in a strict regime correctional colony,“ the court reported. It was established that two residents of the city of Tokmak, M., born in 2002, and Sh., born in 2004, contacted a representative of the Armed Forces of Ukraine via Telegram, who offered them to record and transmit information about the concentrations and movements of military equipment and personnel of the Russian Armed Forces.
