Blitzcrank Hook-Flash

I am an avid Blitzcrank player that actually only started to play league because of this champion. One of the coolest mechanics I ever saw was the Blitzcrank Flash Hook you were able to pull off before it was patched to be fixed. But after playing around with the mechanics and studying how the grab mechanic actually functioned I figured out how you can still manage to “Pull“ this off still. Basically Blitzcrank’s hook works like this: You fire your grab off which roots Blitzcrank in place and your hands hitbox comes out waiting to collide to a target. The moment that the hand collides with a target it will hook that target back to where Blitzcrank was when the two hitboxes meet. This is the reason why the Thresh-Blitz lantern hook combo works. I witnessed that during these lantern hooks sometimes the target won’t be pulled all the way to Blitzcrank because the time it took the target being pulled back that to fly to where Blitz was in the middle of the lantern pullback. So because of this I realized if Blitzcrank is at a far enough distance from his target he can still have enough frames after being rooted to still perform the flash backwards. The timing is a bit fidgety but with practice it gets easier and easier! I even managed to do this a couple times in a regular game~ I hope to see all you Blitzcrank players trying this out again (hopefully in custom games first). Happy Hooking~
