Andrzej Jakuszew (Andrei Yakushau) Symphonic poem “Kastuś Kalinouski“ Finished , 3nd edition of Poznań, Poland Kastuś Kalinouski (Vikenti Konstantin Kalinouski), born February 2, 1838 in Mostowlany (Podlaska voivodeship), died March 22, 1864 in Wilno. Revolutionary, Commissioner of the Polish government in the Grodno and Wilno voivodeships during the January Uprising against the Russian Empire in 1863 – 1864. National hero of Poland, Belarus and Lithuania, a journalist and a lawyer. Was hanged for organising the uprising, burial place unknown.
