FEMA drone view: Here’s what Mayfield looks like after tornadoes leave path of destruction

After a historic quad-state weather system rolled through much of Western Kentucky Friday night, multiple tornadoes left widespread damage and many lives were lost. The hardest-hit place was in Graves County, where Governor Andy Beshear said that the city of Mayfield had been “devastated.“ In Kentucky alone, the tornado traveled 163.6 miles. This more than doubles the previous record of 79 miles set back during the April 3, 1974, known as the Super Outbreak.
