Östersund 130112 - Nizo 801 Macro - Ektachrome 100D

A film I made for a tour entitled ’The Sound of Silence’. The film was shot using silent super 8 film (Kodak Ektachrome 100D) using different types of photography. The film was shown with live accompanied music (a recording of which can be heard here). In making this film I set out to capture a waking day in Östersund, one cold Friday in January 2012. I was out and set up my camera to take the first shot before sunrise and was out in town all day until sunset. I wanted to show the differences in urban life
