YTP: Better than average Star Trek TNG episode

Pogman999 ( ) and Mickelmaus ( ) challenged me to create a youtube poop. I must admit, it was a lot harder than I thought. After studying the works of the cinematic greats like Tarkovsky and Bela Tarr, I realised that the path to cinematic greatness is long cuts with nothing happening in them. This reminded me of one of my favourite science fiction TV shows, Star Trek The Next Generation. Although Star Trek TNG doesn’t utilise long cuts, the majority of episodes do have nothing happening in them. So to take Star Trek TNG into the next level of brilliance, I have tried as best as possible to emulate the long cut technique when producing this TNG poop. Of course, it wouldn’t be much of a poop without quick pitch-shifted cuts, so for these I looked to the quick cut techniques of Dziga Vertov and Sergei Eisenstein for inspiration.
