Sanatçıların İzinde, Şimdinin Peşinde- Deniz Aktaş

İstanbul Modern, 2020 Mart ayının sonunda, “Şimdinin Peşinde” koleksiyon sergisinde yer alan sanatçıları, bu dönemde hayatlarına nasıl devam ettiklerini anlatmaları için davet etti. “Şu anda neredesiniz?”, “Ne üstüne çalışıyorsunuz?” ve “Sanat üretmediğiniz zamanlarda neler yapıyorsunuz?” sorularına her sanatçı farklı bir cevap verdi. Yaşam koşullarımız ve alışkanlıklarımızın değiştiği bu dönemde, sanatçıların hem hayat hem de sanat pratiklerinin hepimize ilham vereceğini düşünüyor, sanatı yaşamlarımızın bir parçası kılmaya devam ediyoruz. #İstanbulModernEvde #ŞimdininPeşinde #SanataSarıl On the Trail of the Artists, In Pursuit of the Present At the end of March 2020, Istanbul Modern has invited artists whose works were included in our “In Pursuit of the Present” collection exhibition to talk about how they’re spending their time during this period of physical isolation. In these thought-provoking videos, which we’re pleased to share with you, artists responded with very different answers to such questions as “Where are you now?”, “What are you working on?” and “What are you doing when you’re not creating art?” We believe that the lifestyles and artistic practices of artists can inspire us as we adjust to new living circumstances and habits and encourage us to maintain art at the center of our lives. #IstanbulModernAtHome #InPursuitOfThePresent #EmbraceArt
